The fire broke out on Sunday at the Gita Press tents at the Maha Kumbh Mela, according to DIG Vaibhav Krishna.
“There are no reports of injuries, and the fire is under control,” Krishna said. He went on to say that only tents and some goods were burned.
An investigation is underway to assess the damage, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
