Naidu congratulates TDP leaders, cadres for enrolling 73 lakh new members in 50 days

The TDP has registered an astonishing 73 lakh people as members in 50 days after the start of its bi-annual membership drive on October 26, 2024, under the leadership of IT Minister and party national general N. Lokesh.

TDP national president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the leaders and grassroots workers for the achievement in the review meeting on December 14, 2024 (Saturday).

According to the party’s report, the newly registered members include 85,000 from Telangana. Rajampet district stands at the top with 1.18 lakh members, followed by Nellore City (1.06 lakh), Kuppam (1.04 lakh), Palakollu (1.02 lakh) and Mangalagiri (90,000).

Mr. Naidu urged the leaders and teams to try to motivate one in four people to take the membership of TDP so that the party will be strong and able to face its rivals effectively.

He reiterated his commitment to take care of the welfare of each member, and empower them politically and economically at the right time.

Mr. Naidu further said that he will see that the per capita income of TDP members and activists increases in the future so that they can serve the party better and contribute to society.

“Those who work hard will be given different positions because of their work, their families will be supported,” he said.

Debt cancellation

Meanwhile, Mr. Naidu entrusted Ministers K. Atchannaidu, Payyavula Keshav and Nimmala Rama Naidu the task of clearing the pending debts of the contractors, considering the plight of the contractors, who were not paid for the works done by the previous government. .
