Heavy rains that lasted for more than eight hours in Mumbai ended life on Wednesday, prompting a ‘Red Alert’ warning from the authorities.
Heavy rain has caused waterlogged roads in the financial capital, leading to traffic jams on the Western Express Highway and other areas. War traffic has been affected and Mumbai’s way of life– local trains– are running at breakneck speed.
