Mickey 17 adapted from the novel by Edward Ashton Mickey7, and tells the story of Robert Pattinson’s iconic character, in the distant future, who has signed up to be used.

In this world, a serviceable person has become a disposable worker, sent to do the dangerous work of mockery. The catch here is that each time Mickey (or any coin) dies, they are brought back to life by regeneration. And when that happens, they are reinstated.

Oh, and new versions of the Mickey 17 have a perfect memory of what happened before. This means that Robert Pattinson’s character has signed up for the rest of his life and a lifetime of grueling work, horrible bosses, general unhappiness, and a lot of gruesome deaths. Bath, bath, repetition of dark and funny situations.

Holding it in Mickey 17 comes when Robert Pattinson’s character wakes up to discover that there are duplicates of him, other versions with their own ideas about surviving in this world. What seems to follow is all sorts of madness with Pattinson’s Mickey not only being at odds with “him” but also the corporate management structure that wants to get him out, along with all his iterations.

Mickey17 comes from director Bong Joon-Ho, one of the best in the business. He has created award-winning and fan-favorite shows such as Hosted by Snowpiercerand, of course, A parasite, going home Best Picture 2019.

In addition to Robert Pattinson, Mickey 17 featuring Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo

In addition to Robert Pattinson, Mickey 17 it has characters that look absolutely ridiculous. The trailer gives us glimpses of Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. The latter two seem to be part of the group that wants to take out Pattinson’s Mickey.

Expectations are high mickey 17, which makes a lot of sense considering the flick’s star and director team. With a budget of $150 million, they went big with this film, and the trailer shows that it totally paid off.

Mickey 17 due in US theaters on January 31, 2025, although it will be released a few days earlier in South Korea. All in all, there’s reason to think this film is in the awards conversation when all is said and done, even if the pre-2025 release date closes that off a bit.
