If you are a fan of film and television, you may recognize the name Billy Zane through his performances in projects like this one Back to the Future, Twin Peaks, The Titanicor a few recent episodes of Boys. Thanks to a new set of first-look photos, however, the actor will surely soon be recognized as a writer capable of resurrecting one of the greatest cinematographers of modern times. According to an exclusive report in Variety, cinema icon Marlon Brando will be played by Billy Zane in the upcoming biopic titled. Walking with Brando.

The first images of the upcoming indie film Marlon Brando have been revealed by Billy Zane in incredible detail – so much so that some fans could easily be fooled into thinking the images represent the genuine article. At this point, the audience hasn’t heard Zane’s line read, so there’s no way to know if he captured Brando’s voice as he looks. Still, even if Zane takes out just a fraction of Brando’s grunt Father speech pattern, you’ll be in high contention for an Academy Award.
The Marlon Brando biopic will be premiered by Billy Zane in November during the Torino Film Festival in Italy, with the likes of Tia Carrere, Richard Dreyfuss, Jon Heder, Camille Razat, and Hot Tub Time MachineRob Corddry casting the cast.
My dinner with Jimi filmmaker Bill Fishman serves as writer-director of the film, adapting the memoir of Brando’s close friend and financial partner Bernard Judge. The memoir, as well as the film, tells the story of Marlon Brando hiring a Judge to build a large eco-friendly building on the uninhabited island of Tetiaroa, despite the many roadblocks that make the construction work impossible.

Appafor rent, the film was shot on location on the island, with Jon Heder playing the role of Bernard the Judge opposite Marlon Brando of the Godfather era, portrayed by Billy Zane. If you’re too young to know about Brando’s importance to Hollywood, you should definitely do a few quick Google searches, as this man was truly one of the greatest thespians in history.
Brando lived a life of abuse after spending much of his childhood as a victim of abuse, and eventually grew up to take leading roles in epic films including. A street car called Desire, At the Waterfrontin 1978 Supermanand of course, Francis Ford Coppola’s classic 1972 movie, The Godfather.
At the moment, there’s no word on when the Marlon Brando biopic will get a wide release within the United States, so there’s no telling when general audiences will see Billy Zane in action. Still, the film’s upcoming Torino Film Festival should be a good sign that it’s ready to find a distributor. Traveling with Brando is said to be the highlight of this year’s lineup at the festival, along with many other programs designed to celebrate this Hollywood legend, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of the actor’s birth.
