The last rites of Manmohan Singh, the two-time Prime Minister and architect of India’s economic freedom, will be held in Delhi on Saturday with full state honours. His final journey is scheduled to begin at the Congress headquarters at 9:30 am.
On Friday, many dignitaries, including President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge, as well as several chief ministers and foreign leaders, paid their respects to Singh at his residence in New Delhi.
