Man City midfielder Rodri is reportedly suffering from a season-ending ACL injury


Manchester City midfielder Rodri will reportedly miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during their 2-2 draw with Arsenal, ESPN reported on Monday.

Rodri was forced off the pitch in the 20th minute of Sunday’s Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium after sustaining an injury in a tackle on Arsenal’s Thomas Partey in the box.

The Spaniard was already frustrated after colliding with Kai Havertz shortly after the match.

Losing Rodri will be a significant blow for Man. The city. The 28-year-old, voted as the best player at Euro 2024, is among the favorites to win the Ballon d’Or.

Man City is currently sitting at 4-1-0 and is in first place The Premier League.
