Hours after Arjun Mathur’s wedding photo went viral, the actor shared the photo himself on his Instagram handle, confirming the news. Sharing a picture from his wedding mandap with his bride Tiya Tejpal, Arjun revealed their wedding day in the caption. The couple tied the knot on October 9.
In the shared picture, Tiya, who is a production designer and the Made In Heaven actor’s long-time girlfriend, can be seen wearing a beautiful red saree, while Arjun compliments his bride in a matching kurta set. The couple is seen sitting in front of the mandap, smiling and looking at each other lovingly. Their mandap was decorated with beautiful marigold flowers, looking like a scene from Made In Heaven series. The couple seems to have had an intimate ceremony with family and close friends present.
Talking about his marriage, Arjun Mathur told Hindustan Times, “Tiya and I have been married for many years, and it was time to get married. We were very lucky to be able to keep it as small and intimate as we wanted. We believe intimacy is good, as long as it’s private. When it’s in public, it’s something else, which we’ve all seen enough of in recent times. “
He added, “We had a great event, and we are very grateful for all the wishes and blessings. We would very much like to maintain our privacy as we celebrate our togetherness during this exciting time. “
Sharing the picture, Arjun Mathur wrote, “T & A – 09.10.2024.” His captions are accompanied by endless hearts and emojis. Soon after the actor posted a wedding photo, actress Sonam Bajwa and Oscar-winning filmmaker Karitiki Gonsalves congratulated the couple. The director of Elephant Whisperer wrote, “Congratulations to you and T on the best life ahead! I am so happy for you both.” Meanwhile, mother-to-be Sonam commented: “Congratulations to you both.” Actor Cyrus Sahukar also congratulated the couple and wrote, “Lots of love and blessings to you two beautiful people.”
