The first photo was a throwback selfie of Bell and Shepard sharing a passionate kiss. The second photo showed the two smoking in a car in formal attire.
“The first picture I ever put on Instagram. The second one is from our wedding day,” added Bell about the context of the photos.
Bell’s post included photos of her and Shepard over the years. The couple started dating in 2007 and got engaged two years later. Bell and Shepard tied the knot in 2013.
A third photo shows Bell and Shepard locking lips in their home while the other is revealing Parenthood student kissing Bell on the cheek while attending the ceremony.
In the non-PDA photo, Shepard and Bell rocked holiday pajamas while the actress was pregnant with one of their children. The couple shares daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9. That wasn’t the only photo of the couple’s little ones that did well: Bell also shared cute moments of her husband with both girls. In two photos, Shepard hugged his daughters and kissed them.

“How can you make me cry on my big birthday ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” joked the actress.
Over the years, Bell and Shepard have been open about how they keep their spark alive after more than a decade of marriage.
“My husband keeps my mind and heart open and moving forward every day, because he’s a challenge,” Bell told Shepard in her February 2023 interview. Real Simple. “We disagree on 99 percent of things in the world, which is just fun and interesting.”
Bell also talked about how Shepard has been by his side as he learns how to stop chasing his perfectionistic tendencies.
“I was taught to stay within the lines,” he recalled. “When I realized that I could break the mold and disagree with certain ways of doing things, I felt free and like myself. I felt more comfortable with who I was, then I realized, ‘I don’t have to be better than anyone else. I just need to be better than the person I was yesterday.’”
