The state-run Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has launched a flagship program to provide support and guidance to over 8,00,000 students from government schools as they prepare for entrance exams for various subjects.
KITE is the technical arm of the General Education Department of the Kerala government.

The programme, titled ‘Key to Entrance’, was inaugurated by General Education Minister V Sivankutty here on Saturday.
The main objective of this program is the government’s commitment to increase educational opportunities and support students in Science, Humanities, and Commerce, said an official statement here on Sunday.
The program’s dedicated portal, www.entrance.kite.kerala.gov.in , provides free access to senior secondary and vocational students of government and aided schools, allowing them to access a wide range of study materials including question papers. , assignments, and mock exams, it said
All these resources will be available after the daily live classes, which will start airing on KITE VICTERS channel from September 30, with simultaneous broadcast on two PM eVidya channels dedicated to Kerala only.
Students who miss the live sessions can watch them later via KITE’s YouTube channel.
This program will initially include many subjects including Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Business Studies, English, and Geography, with plans to expand to other subjects in the future.
Each class will provide self-assessment opportunities, giving students the opportunity to assess their progress and identify areas for improvement, the statement added, adding that continuous assessment will be facilitated through online mock tests to ensure effective learning outcomes.
To ensure the smooth implementation of this program, the Director General of Education (DGE) has issued instructions to all schools to make the necessary technical resources available to students.
UK Anvar Sadath, Chief Executive Officer, KITE, said that this is the biggest public entrance exam training program in Kerala, reaching almost 8 lakh students.
“We aim to emulate the success of last year’s Crack the Entrance crash course, which saw great participation and excellent results for students preparing for Medical and Engineering entrance exams,” he added.
