I The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 60, confirmed the news in a statement Page Six Thursday, October 31.
“After much thought, [they have] made the difficult decision to end their engagement,” the statement read. “And as a family, we focus on support [Ally] at this time. We appreciate your understanding and request privacy regarding this personal matter.”
Fans previously began to speculate that the couple – who have been dating since January 2022 – had called it quits after several clips posted by Shaprio, 31, on TikTok suggested it was over.

In another clip, Shapiro showed Zarin helping him into a studio apartment.
“When you don’t realize how much you needed your parents until they left everything for you,” he said in the caption of the post.
Another showed Shapiro appearing to not be wearing her engagement ring while belting out the lyrics to Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True.”
The news comes after Shapiro revealed via Instagram in August that Bilfeld popped the question while the couple was on vacation in Europe.
She made the announcement through a series of photos on her Instagram story where she showed off her engagement ring.

In another post, Shapiro is sipping a cocktail, seemingly unaware that her boyfriend is about to get down on one knee.
“5 minutes before I proposed and it was raining and I was drinking my spritz 😂😂😂 without a clue 😂😂😂😂😂,” he captioned the post.
At that time, Zarin was on vacation in the same place with her boyfriend, Gary Brodyand witnessed the proposal of his daughter, which took place at the Beach Club Gran Folies in the Islas Baleares.

Zarin later shared his excitement about the wedding in an Instagram post.
“I’m speechless!” he wrote: “Gary, Ally and Jordan and I spent last week on the Celebrity Cruise in Europe and we’re disembarking tomorrow.” After lunch, Jordan asked Ally for a walk on the beach. Gary and I are waiting for the check to arrive. We heard cheers and clapping and I started clapping and went over to see beyond the bell and guess who just got married???”
Shapiro is Zarin’s daughter and ex-husband Steven ShapiroHe was married to her from 1987 to 1998.
