Jill Duggar Gives Back to Brother Jason’s Wedding to Maddie Grace

Jill Duggar a behind-the-scenes look at my brother Jason Duggarthe marriage of Maddie Grace in Tennessee.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, October 3, weddings, Jill, 33, wrote about her morning with her husband. Derick and their children, Israel David, 9, Samuel Scott, 7, and Frederick “Freddy” Michael, 2. The family started the day by heading to the indoor pool, where Derick, 35, guided Freddy.

The couple then went back to their room to get ready, Jill curled her hair and changed into a white top and pink pants. “We’re leaving the hotel, we’re going to the wedding,” Jill said in a clip of her and Derick walking down the aisle.

The video showed the family driving to an event at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek in Newport, Tennessee. Before the wedding, Jill shared a series of photos of her and Derick together. He featured on the Dixie Cups track “Chapel of Love.”

While waiting for Maddie to walk down the aisle, Jill shared a view of the bridal party waiting at the altar as guests sat in white chairs facing the mountain. (People previously reported that the brothers Jedidiah, James, Justin again Jackson they were all groomsmen when Maddie enlisted Johanna, Jennifer, Jordan again Josie as friends.)

Maddie then walked down the floor to Sleeping at Last’s song “Turning Page.” After Jason, 24, and Maddie exchanged vows, there was a weaving of the union thread (symbolizing the union of God, bride and groom) and the two sealed their nuptials with a kiss. The two walked down the aisle as the crowd erupted in cheers.

Next came the reception area, which included white and gold plates and cutlery for each table. Jill shared a close-up of her pasta dish before revealing the couple’s chosen dessert. As Jason and Maddie walked into the reception hall hand in hand, they were met with applause and proceeded to cut the cake.

Derick, meanwhile, digs into the ice cream, telling Jill in the video that he eats a spoonful of flavored pecan butter. Jason and Maddie were also seen ordering their own ice cream and cobbler from a food truck on the premises.

The night continued with Maddie’s flower toss, which was set BeyoncéThe song is “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Maddie and Jason then embraced while doing a little dance as guests held sparklers in a circle around the couple.

Afterwards, the dance floor was open to everyone, but Derick chose the grass to show off his moves. Soulja Boy‘s “Crank That.” The night ended with Maddie and Jason leaving the venue with their guests holding up sparklers as they walked to their car.

Maddie and Jason got engaged after popping the question on the beach. “On 8/24, Jase asked me to marry him, and I couldn’t be happier!!” Maddie took to Instagram in August, sharing photos of the proposal. Jason and Maddie went public with their engagement in May.
