Jenna Bush Hager begins a new era of Today show at four o’clock.
To follow Hoda Kotblast episode on January 10, Today With Hoda & Jenna relaunched under a new title Today With Jenna & Friends. Bush Hager, 43, will appear alongside a rotating panel of guest hosts until Kotb’s successor is officially chosen.
“Whoever sits in this chair is going to have the easiest job in the world because he’s sitting next to you,” Kotb, 60, said in the September 2024 episode. Hoda & Jenna after introducing him Today Get out. “I mean what they have to do is not to laugh until they pee their pants.” That’s all. They just have to hold on. You are this bright light, you have always been there, and it is your turn.”
At that time, Bush Hager replied: “If I’m bright, it’s because I’m sitting in your light.”

Kotb helped Bush Hager announce his first list of guest hosts during his final week Todaydescribing his first three picks as “heavy-hitter, homerun [and] wow” on the January 6 episode of Hoda & Jenna.
After a brand new experience Jenna & Friends theme song, Kotb tearfully told a TV colleague: “I was filming you and how proud I would be of you walking over here from that wall to this desk with that song on it. It will be great. It will be a miracle.”
