The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) in Andhra Pradesh has invited applications from registered educational societies / trusts for setting up new private unaided colleges in the State for the academic year 2025-26.
In a circular issued on Friday (December 6, 2024), BIE Secretary Kritika Shukla said that the management should upload the prescribed application form I online through the official website – – from December 9, 2024.
He said the inspection team will download the ‘BIE Geo-Tagging’ app on the smartphone as per the link provided in the application form. It can upload pictures of infrastructure such as college building, classrooms, labs, library and playground, and send an inspection report through the app.
He said that BIE will verify the application forms with proper photographs/markings. Applicants will be granted a temporary permit and a temporary partnership after satisfying all the prescribed conditions and norms.
Informing that January 31, 2025, was the last date for submission of completed online application, uploading of required documents and marking of photographs as prescribed, Ms. Shukla said incomplete applications and applications without uploading documents and geo-tagging images will be rejected.
