Jackery’s curved solar roof tiles are so classic that even your HOA might like them


Long-running solar company Jackery is upping the US roofing game with the introduction of XBC curved solar shingles. Coming to CES 2025, Jackery’s curved solar roof tiles come in terracotta or obsidian, designed to match some of the country’s most popular house styles. While solar shingles already exist in the US, these are the first to have a wavy aesthetic. It sounds like HOA presidents everywhere have lost one reason to ban your rooftop solar installation.

The new tiles deliver a cell conversion efficiency of over 25 percent, and are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, including hail, high winds and temperatures between -40 degrees F and 185 degrees F. There’s no word on specific pricing or availability for the new tiles yet, or if Jackery was showing them off in a big way at CES 2025.
