What Cucumber about?
Written and directed by Tilman Singerthe film follows 17-year-old American Gretchen (Schafer) who is banished to a resort in Bavaria with her father Luis (Márton Csókás), stepmother, Beth (Jessica Henwick), and 8-year-old stepmother, Alma (Mila Lieu). .
The owner of the resort Mr. König (Dan Stevens) finds Gretchen a job at a nearby lodge, where one day she is chased back to her new home on her bicycle by a mysterious hooded figure with glowing eyes. When no one believes he has been attacked, he is forced to investigate on his own. What he reveals is crazy and may leave you scratching your head.

Is it Cucumber is it worth watching?
Cucumber reviews are a mixed bag, but mostly positive, with a 77 percent critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 61 percent audience rating. Mashable’s own reviewer Siddhant Adlakha calls it “incredibly weird and subtly entertaining.”
“Whether the film’s greatest horror, be it its cool atmosphere or its attempts to satirize morality and obscenity, is all tied up in Schafer’s growing physical and emotional depression,” Adlakha wrote in his review. “He’s not just saving the film is something film, which makes it even more special to watch.”
