Hindu community must unite for protection: RSS official

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the Hindu community should unite for its own safety by eliminating the divisions of language, caste and region.

Speaking at the ‘Swayamsevak Ekatrikaran’ function in Rajasthan’s Baran on Saturday, Bhagwat said that the society should have unity and kindness, and good conduct and duty towards the government is important.

“Society is not made by me and my family alone, but instead we should benefit God in our lives by taking care of society in all aspects,” he said.

Reiterating that India is a Hindu nation, he said: “We have been living here since ancient times, although the word Hindu appeared later, and people of all religions living here are Hindus.”

He said the word “Hindu” was used by people of all sects living in India. “Hindus consider everyone as their own and accept everyone. Hindus say we are right and you are right and we live in harmony by always talking to each other,” said Bhagwat.

He also emphasized that the functioning of RSS is not mechanical but based on ideas.

“The functioning of RSS is not mechanical but based on ideas. It is an organization that has never been matched with its principles that descend from the leaders of the groups to the volunteers, their families and the community as a whole,” he said.

Urging the RSS volunteers to maintain widespread communication in the communities, he said, “The focus should be on social harmony, justice, health, education, and independence. Volunteers should always be active and promote harmony. ” with PTI input
