Week 2 of Herd Hierarchy
10. The Cincinnati Bengals (0-2, Last week relegated)
Super Bowl Odds: +1600
Answer from Cowherd: “Their next four opponents are 1-7. The Bengals are a perfect 0-2. If you can go into Arrowhead if you’re going to face the best defense in the league, arguably … outscoring the Chiefs and double the yards on fourth down, you’re good. Good. Teams Zac Taylor’s not doing well in September. Joe Burrow he is not doing well. I’ll say it again: That’s when Pumpkin Spice Lattes are available at Starbucks … that’s when they’re ready. I love this team.”
9. San Francisco 49ers (1-1, LW 2)
Super Bowl Odds: +600
Answer from Cowherd: “The Niners have the second-ranked offense in the league. They’re getting beat offensively. That’s why I’ve moved them back to the nine. Here’s what I’m most concerned about: Photo by Brock Purdy he was sacked eight times in two games, and I don’t consider the Vikings to have very good pass rushers. They got beat, and they don’t protect Brock Purdy, but thank God they still have a great deck Deebo [Samuel] again Christian McCaffrey … but they are not the same team.”
8. Seattle Seahawks (2-0, LW not counted)
Super Bowl Odds: +4500
Answer from Cowherd: “I don’t know what to do with the Seahawks. Gene Smithaccording to his example Baker Mayfieldit plays really well. Dude completes 74% of his throws. Here’s what I know: The last two drafts have been great … and I see this young defensive coach [Mike Macdonald]like DeMeco Ryans, do really good things. DK MetcalfJaxon Smith-Njigba they are big, too Tyler Lockett. I love their weapons … You can win a lot of games in this league when your quarterback is a big guy who is accurate 74% of the time.”

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0, LW 10)
Super Bowl Odds: +4500
Answer from Cowherd: “I like it. Baker’s playing butt; 8-2 over his last ten starts. Chris Godwin they connect perfectly. Now, i Denver the game this week is tricky. Going to Detroit … they came in all rolled and bruised and they won. So, I buy Tampa. I buy Baker. He plays with a lot of confidence. I always thought Todd Bowles was a good defensive coach. I love the coach and I love the quarterback.”
6. Minnesota Vikings (2-0, LW not counted)
Super Bowl Odds: +5000
Answer from Cowherd: “I don’t know how long it will take. They lead the NFL with 11 sacks. I don’t think that will continue through the season. But, they are 9-0 under this head coach, Kevin. O’Connell, if they tie or win the turnover battle Sam Darnold significantly. That’s what he does. He’s a QB whisperer … Darnold led the game-winning drive from the outside [Justin] Jefferson, [Jordan] Addison again TJ Hockenson. I think we might have the best young coach in Minnesota football.”
5. New Orleans Saints (2-0, LW not counted)
Super Bowl Odds: +3500
Answer from Cowherd: “I love Saints, let’s not go crazy, I need one week Saints.” Derek CarrI have to give him credit. Alvin Kamara … it is an animal, and they depend on it [him] heavy. They have the highest rushing percentage at 64% in the NFL through the first two weeks. “
4. Buffalo bills (2-0, LW not counted)
Super Bowl Odds: +1200
Answer from Cowherd: “[This is] for the first time in seven, eight years they had a star running back. They can run the ball now; 9-2 since offensive coordinator Joe Brady arrived. Josh Allen he relied heavily on offensive coordinators to clean him up. This is a new case. Tight ends are great. [The] The receivers don’t have a star, but they do have depth. [Allen] he’s one of two quarterbacks in the league … without a turnover. Also, you’re very dependent on the coordinator.”
3. Los Angeles Chargers (2-0, LW 8)
Super Bowl Odds: +4000
Answer from Cowherd: “I buy the Chargers Joe Alt again Rashawn Slater they were two of the best players in the entire league. … JK Dobbins it looks like [Ohio State] JK Dobbins. [Justin] Herbertrecord-wise, he is 18-0 when his team allows fewer than 20 points. You just need a coach.”
Head coach Jim Harbaugh has gotten his Chargers off to a 2-0 start, with a date to face the Steelers in Week 3.
2. Houston Texas (2-0, LW 7)
Super Bowl Odds: +1100
Answer from Cowherd: “I’m buying the Texans. I didn’t even think they were going to play well Chicago. They are young, and I can see them getting to the AFC Championship and having a bad game and losing to Kansas City. CJ Stroud you are crazy. That kid is the most accurate guy, outside of Burrow and Mahomes, in the league. “
1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0, LW 1)
Super Bowl Odds: +450
Answer from Cowherd: “I worry. I don’t think they’re very good at tackling. They didn’t play well on third down against the Bengals. They have to clean that up. It’s hard to win a Super Bowl, even with Mahomes, if you don’t like the offensive line and I don’t like it. Chris Jones. … Now, Travis KelceI’m not too worried because he wasn’t visible last year, then … he got to where it’s important. Anyway Hollywood Brown won’t be back for a while, I think their weapons sound like a significant improvement to me.”
