From Inspiration to Action: #SheShakti2024 Redefines Gender Norms


This year’s theme, ‘Breaking Barriers’, highlighted the incredible strides women have made in overcoming challenges and excelling in their fields.

News18 SheShakti2024 themed ‘Breaking Barriers’ was an effort to celebrate the fiery women leaders, who have not only made us proud but raised India’s profile in the global competitive arena. Using the power and strength of education, social activist and teacher Shaheen Mistri, mastermind of non-profit organization Teach India, emphasized the power of ‘belief’ that transcends gender bias.

Captivating the audience with his acting prowess over the years, actor and former MP Kirron Kher was an inspirational beacon at the event. Having recently overcome cancer, she emphasized the role of women in the family and how women have the natural ability and passion to manage family and work.

Radhikaraje Gaekwad, the Maharani of the Princely state of Baroda, has shown a beautiful blend of his personal life – culture and work.
