A woman sustained minor injuries after a fire broke out at a shop in Abids here on Sunday night, police said.
The fire broke out when the goods (explosives) were being stored in the shop, said the police chief in the initial investigation.
Four fire tenders have been pressed into action and the fire has been brought under control, he said.
The woman suffered a minor injury to her hand and has been transferred to the hospital, police said.
Television footage showed flames in the shop and crackers exploding as people were seen running out of the shop.
Further investigation is ongoing.
