The Enforcement Directorate on Monday (October 7, 2024) raided the premises of AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora and others as part of a money laundering probe related to the land scam case, official sources said.
They said the house of a 61-year-old Punjab MP in Gurugram (Haryana) was being searched apart from the properties connected to other people in Ludhiana.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, posted on X that the attack on their MP, who is also a businessman, is an attempt to break their party.
But AAP members will not stop, they will not be sold and they will not be afraid, he posted.
Officials said the search was conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and related to a case of land fraud.
