Diddy’s lawyers asked the judge to block the woman, but they previously tried to get the rapper released under a number of strict conditions. Judge Andrew Carter rejected all previous requests, including a $50 million bail package, on the grounds that the officer was considered a flight risk.
Before Diddy was officially charged, there were rumors that he would try to escape federal prosecutors by leaving the country on his private jet or personal yacht.
The rapper had previously boarded his plane as Homeland Security agents attempted to raid two of Combs’ homes at the same time.
