However, Dr Singh’s “antim ardas” (last prayer) will be held at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi on Friday where leaders from all parties are expected.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inducted Pawan Kalyan’s brother-turned-politician Nagababu into the state Cabinet on December 9. Although the Cabinet is expected to expand next year, Nagababu has not yet been given a portfolio. There are strong suspicions that he may be made the minister of culture but party sources say “nothing has been decided yet”.
