Defense Minister Rajnath launches 18 BRO projects in Arunachal Pradesh | Foreign Affairs Defense Security

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled around 75 infrastructure reforms for the Border Roads Organization (BRO) on Saturday.

Among these, 18 projects are located in Arunachal Pradesh, including three important roads, 14 bridges, and a helipad made by Project Brahmank.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (retd) KT Parnaik, who also participated almost from Itanagar, highlighted the strategic importance of these projects for the state and the entire country.

“These completed projects will improve national security, improve surface and space communication, and improve tourism in the province,” he said.

Parnaik expressed gratitude to the central government on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh for successfully implementing these important projects.

“These infrastructures will promote socio-economic development, especially in the border areas, to support the Vibrant Border Village program and the state government’s ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ program, which brings governance directly to the people,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Law and Justice of Arunachal Pradesh Kento Jini personally attended the launch ceremony from Aalo in West Siang district, stressing that these projects will greatly improve the connectivity of the state and contribute to a brighter future.
