Television actor Nitin Chauhaan is no more. The actor was known for winning the reality show Dadagiri 2 and appeared in shows like MTV Splitsvilla 5, Crime Patrol, and Tera Yaar Hoon Main. Nitin passed away at the age of 35 on Thursday, in Mumbai.
Nitin was originally from Aligarh, UP. He was last seen on screen in SAB TV’s daily Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022. Nitin Chauhaan’s former co-star Vibhuti Thakur took to social media and shared that Nitin is suspected of suicide. Sharing a photo with the late actor, she wrote, “Rest in peace my love…you are shocked and sad.. I wish you had the strength to face all the problems…I wish you were as strong mentally as your body.” However, details on the cause of Nitin’s death are still awaited.
Nitin Chauhaan starrer Sudeep Sahir shared on his Instagram story, “Rest in peace buddy,” with a broken heart emoji. Sayantani Ghosh also confirmed the news of Nitin Chauhaan’s passing, but revealed that he did not have any other details.

Nitin’s friend Kuldeep shared with TOI, “We came to know this morning when his father and sister called us and said that Nitin had died and they said that the cause of death was suicide. We are also shocked as he was coming next month to Delhi and we had plans to go together to Khatu Shyam ji’s temple.”
After winning Dadagiri 2 with Nitin Chauhaan she went on to appear in several other shows like MTV’s Splitsvilla 5 and Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, and Friends.
More details about the death are awaited. It is reported that Nitin’s father rushed to Mumbai to search for his son’s body.
