Cooper Koch Says He Didn’t Use a Prosthetic in ‘Nude Monsters Scene’

Cooper Koch reveals that she did not use a prosthetic when filming the nude shower scene Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez.

Koch, who plays Erik Menendez in the Netflix crime drama series, he confirmed that he attended or naturel during his appearance on Monday, October 14 on Bravo Watch What Happens Live.

Both Koch and his on-screen siblings Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Lyle Menendez) have gathered tons of buzz since Monsters premiered last month. A controversial scripted show, created by Ryan Murphycovers the high-profile case of the Menendez brothers for murdering their parents in 1989 and examines their claims that they were sexually, physically and emotionally abused. “I believe both of them,” Koch said Vanity Fair earlier this month. “I believe everything they said on the stand is true.”

However, Chavez, 25, was reluctant to express his opinion to the brothers, saying, “I’ve come to a really unique conclusion, but I’ve also come to the conclusion that I don’t really want to share what it is with anyone, and that I really want to keep that part of my art and my interpretation to myself.”

Koch recalls a time in September when he visited Erik and Lyle in prison with Kim Kardashianwho has become a powerful activist for criminal justice reform. While Koch had spoken to Lyle before, he had not yet spoken to Erik, a critic both Monsters and Murphy.

“It makes sense that he would feel that way,” Koch said Vanity Fair. “This is the worst part of his life being televised for millions of people to watch, let alone in this dramatized, fictional Hollywood TV way. I understand how he feels, and I stand by him.”

He remembered when he came out that he had hugged Lyle and Erik during his visit.

“I have to hug them and look them in the eye and just tell them that I believe in them and I stand with them, and I will do everything I can to stand up for them.”

Koch added, “I know where I stand. I know what my point of view is, and that point of view is shared by all the people on TikTok who support them. I know that I have done everything I could to support and represent them in my practice, and to portray them as authentically as possible. And if people criticize you, I know I did everything I could.”
