Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam here on Wednesday (January 1).
The priests of Kanaka Durga temple welcomed him with Poornakumbham. After darshan, sages gave him Vedic blessings and gave him Prasadam. Speaking to the media after the darshan, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu extended New Year greetings to all Indians.
He expressed his happiness for visiting the temple and said that he is praying for the blessings of the Goddess for all people. He believes that this year will bring good luck in all aspects.
On the occasion of New Year, a large number of devotees thronged the temple to have darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga.
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu also visited Governor Abdul Nazeer at Raj Bhavan. They greeted each other on New Year and discussed the government’s goals for the new year.
