“Adrien and Felicity’s performances are completely their own,” Corbet, 36, said in a statement. statement to Variety Monday, January 20. “They worked for months with a dialect coach Tanera Marshall to fulfill their words. Innovative Respeecher technology has been used to edit the conversation in the Hungarian language only, mainly to refine certain vowels and letters for accuracy. No English language was changed.”
The filmmaker added: “This was a manual process, done by our sound team and Respeecher in post-production. The aim was to preserve the authenticity of Adrien and Felicity’s plays in another language, not to alter or alter them and to do so with the utmost respect for this project.”
The Brutalist stars Brody, 51, as László Tóth, a Hungarian-Jewish architect and Holocaust survivor who immigrated to America after World War II. Jones, 41, plays Tóth.

“Most of their Hungarian conversation has my part to speak in there,” Jancs agreed. “We were very careful about keeping their games. It basically just changes characters here and there.”
Jancsó told RedShark News that the production AI was included at the end of the film, which showed architectural drawings from Brody’s character. However, Corbet explained in his statement on Monday: “[Production designer] Judy Becker and his team did not use AI to build or render any buildings. All images are hand painted by artists.”

At the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, The Brutalist won three major trophies: Best Motion Picture — Drama, Best Director for Corbet, and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture — Brody’s Drama. (This award came 23 years after receiving an Academy Award The Pianist at age 29.)
