American President Joe Biden said he was impressed by Prime Minister Modi’s ability to find new ways of cooperation as he held him at his residence in Greenville, Delaware.
US President Joe Biden on Saturday (local time) said he was ‘impressed’ by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ability to ‘find new ways of cooperation’ as he welcomed the Indian Prime Minister at his home in Delaware’s Greenville.
Prime Minister Modi, in a social media post, said he had meaningful discussions with the US President at his residence and thanked Biden for his hospitality.

PM Modi in his social media said that he and Biden held discussions on regional and global issues during the meeting.

The outgoing US President emphasized that US-India is stronger and stronger than anywhere else in US history.
“The relationship between the United States and India is stronger, closer and stronger than at any time in history. Prime Minister Modi, each time we sit down, I am impressed by our ability to find new areas of cooperation. Today was no different,” said Biden after the meeting.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar, Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri in a meeting with President Biden.
The White House called it a personal meeting and the US delegation included senior officials such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared on social media what was discussed between Joe Biden and Narendra Modi in the meeting and gave important updates of the Greenville meet and greet that lasted for more than an hour.
“India-United States is advancing the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. Prime Minister Modi and US President Joe Biden held bilateral talks in Wilmington, Delaware today. In a special gesture, the meeting was hosted by President Biden at his residence. The talks focused on ways to further deepen the bilateral relationship the two India-United States in areas of mutual interest. The leaders exchanged views on global and regional issues, including the Indo-Pacific region and beyond,” ministry spokesperson Jaiswal said.
