Union minister Giriraj Singh on Saturday said Bangladeshis and Rohingyas were working as delivery agents for food delivery companies and online shopping platforms and added that they should be identified.
Singh made these remarks in Hyderabad, where he attended the NIFT-Hyderabad convocation.
“In the service sector, be it Zomato, Swiggy or Flipkart, the delivery boys are Bangladeshi and Rohingya. Efforts should be made to identify them and hand them over to the police,” he told PTI Videos on the sidelines of the event.
The Union minister also threw his jab at Yogi Adityanath over his comments drawing parallels between Sambhal and Bangladesh, saying the Uttar Pradesh chief minister did not say anything negative.
Adityanath on Thursday said that the actions of Mughal Emperor Babur in Ayodhya and Sambhal 500 years ago and the events taking place in Bangladesh today share the same nature and purpose.
“Look at the kind of actions our enemies in the neighboring countries are doing. Remember this, if anyone is under any illusion. Five hundred years ago, the general of Babur did some actions in Ayodhya, similar actions in Sambhal, and what is happening today. Bangladesh – nature and -The DNA of all three of them is the same,” he said.
Responding to a question about Adityanath’s comments, Singh also took a swipe at All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi.
“India split into Pakistan. Hindus ended in Pakistan. The same thing happened in Bangladesh today. Jinnah’s DNA was in Pakistan and Jinnah’s DNA is in Bangladesh. Jinnah’s DNA is also in Sambhal. Your father-in-law, Jinnah’s gene entered him,” said Singh.
