“I’m with Diddy, I saw many sides of him but I don’t know who I’ve ever talked to who wasn’t drinking. There was always something going on,” said O’Day, 40, in the next episode Renee Graziano‘s “Crysis Queen” podcast, a clip shared by Daily Mail on Tuesday, September 24.
According to O’Day – who was a fifth member of Danity Kane, a group formed by Diddy on MTV. Making Band 3once Andrea Fimbres, D. Woods, Dawn Richard again Shannon Bex – after being made a member of the group, Diddy was very focused on how he presented himself.
“He’s on camera telling me how much he hates me, but he’s turned off and tells me all the ways I need to get well, right down to my toes,” said the singer. “I once got kicked out of the studio because my toes weren’t polished properly.”
O’Day continued, “Diddy would bring me back to the studio at night and say, ‘Oh, I just got [Danity Kane song] “Show Stopper” … you’re not in the first verse.’ The guy has someone else on the first verse and he puts me on the bridge. He’s like, ‘Do you think that’s acceptable?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know.’ I can’t tell the producer what to do with his song. He was like, ‘You are a spectator of my team. Do you think I can start with this music video for this [other] a girl?’”
In this clip, O’Day said he felt coached by Diddy, 54, to match his image.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives and Diddy’s lawyer for comment.
In a September 5 interview on the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, O’Day revealed that Danity Kane was fired by Diddy on a live episode Making Band 4 in 2008.
“I was young and a lot of things were placed on me. I was fired from national television for being disrespectful and misbehaving,” he said. “That is like a wrong termination. That is a crime against many people.”
O’Day has been increasingly critical of the former Bad Boy Records boss over the past few months as Diddy has faced allegations of sexual harassment and trafficking. The rapper was arrested on September 16 after being charged with sex trafficking, fraud and prostitution. He denied all the charges against him.
“The purpose of justice is to provide closure and allow us space to create a new chapter,” O’Day shared with X after Diddy’s September 16 arrest.
The former member of Danity Kane continued, “Women never get this. I feel vindicated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things change eventually.”
