43 illegal residents from the Palestinian territories were arrested in Jaffa as police carried out what was described as a “sustained and concentrated operation” in the Jaffa area over concerns about the recruitment or settlement of illegal immigrants.
Two of the illegal residents were arrested while driving.

In addition, the police found 41 illegal aliens in two apartments on the street in the Jaffa area.
The police said that the investigation of the Palestinian employers who do not have permits to work or stay in Israel is still ongoing, and the possible charges against them are still being investigated.
The police stressed that contractors and citizens who rent and provide accommodation to residents of Palestinian territories without a residence permit or work permit put themselves and the public at risk.

The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has announced that the areas of Rosh Hankara, Shlomi, Kibbutz Hanita, Kibbutz Adamit and Arab al-Aramshe – all near the border with Lebanon – will be closed to the military as of today at 10 PM Monday night.
The decision to do so was made after the IDF held an assessment of the security situation in the north of the country due to the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
The IDF specifies that entry into these areas is strictly prohibited.
