Just a month after her wedding, Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap shared her wedding video on her YouTube channel. The nineteen-minute-long video was a combination of a couple’s haldi, mehendi, cocktail party, wedding, and grand wedding reception. Aaliyah’s wedding celebrations were nothing short of epic. The video opens with Aliyah Haldi celebrations on their terrace, attended by their close family and friends. The video revealed that Anurag Kashyap hugged his daughter.
The video then shows Aliyah’s mehendi ceremony at her house with her family and friends. Aaliyah found cute pet pictures in her mehendi design.
The frames shifted to a cocktail party that saw the presence of Kalki Kochlin, Aaliyah’s mother Aarti Bajaj, and Imtiaz Ali, dancing with the couple and enjoying the night. It ended up being the D-day, when the couple was seen talking to each other. Shane was emotional as he said, “Aaliyah is the girl I’ve been looking for all my life. You are my lover without a doubt. I am very happy.” A distraught Aaliyah then said: “I feel lucky to have met someone who loves me so much. I think you are my best friend and I want to spend my whole life with my best friend. “

Speaking about Aaliyah, Shane’s mother said, “I felt comfortable with Aaliyah from day one. He has a good heart and respects us and is very sweet. I love her like my daughter.”

The video then shows Aaliyah and Shane tying the knot in traditional attire and participating in various rituals. The last part of the video gave a glimpse of their wedding reception with family and friends.
The video showed a depressed Anurag Kashyap hugging his daughter in different situations. He was also seen crying putting his head on the shoulders of his ex-wife Aarti Bajaj. The couple’s reception was attended by many celebrities including Manoj Bajpayee, Bobby Deol, Naga Chaitanya, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among others.
Aaliyah Kashyap is the daughter of Anurag Kashyap and his first wife Aarti Bajaj. She was in a relationship with Shane for over four years, before the couple decided to tie the knot.
