An American Psycho Remake In The Works From An Award-Winning Director

Technically, Lionsgate’s American Psycho the remake is reported as a reinterpretation of the novel by Bret Easton Ellis and not an original adaptation. First published in 1991, the novel was so controversial that it was not available in hardback until 2012 and was found in the homes of many serial killers. The film became a lightning rod for criticism and, some derided it for glorifying Patrick Bateman, in a manner typical of its time. Fight Clubit is not well understood.
