I got a driver. We had a cocktail before we went to dinner. We go to a sushi restaurant … and all of a sudden, this woman stands up and says, ‘Why do birds always appear?’ And I go, ‘Huh?'”

More people from the restaurant started joining in, but it was all part of Fallon’s plan. “They were all paid actors,” he said. “They were all in the local choir. … And I look at Nancy and I just say, ‘Happy birthday.’”

Fever Pitch,” he continued. “They put it in the movie, on the radio. That’s where I met my wife, he produced that movie, and one of our wedding songs was ‘Oh Babe Ungathini’ — which was on this jukebox!”
