Police in Fort Kochi have arrested a young man for raping an Indian citizen based in America, in a residential unit in Fort Kochi. The arrested person has been identified as Althaf Hussain, 29, from Fort Kochi.
The victim and Althaf, who works at an accommodation and bike rental company, are reportedly known to each other. The arrest was made based on the complaint filed by the woman. Althaf has been taken into custody, police sources said.
