A Colorado man is said to have attempted to rob a bank but left empty-handed after handing the teller a letter he could not decipher, according to police.
The incident happened before 5:00 p.m. on December 17 at the First National Bank at 750 North Lincoln Ave.
Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note.

He mentions, however, that he had a hard time reading the note as it was said to be almost illegible, according to CBS Colorado.
The suspect is said to have been frustrated as the man was studying hard, and then quickly left the bank, said the source.

The police are still looking for the suspect.

The man was captured on surveillance footage wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses and brown gloves.
