Chavez is one of a handful of people who have been charged in connection with the alleged abuse of the television star, which prosecutors described as a deliberate drug ring with four others, including Dr. Salvador Plasencia, one of Matthew Perry’s doctors. Prosecutors say Chavez operated a ketamine clinic, which gave him access to ketamine lozenges, and sold them to Placencia, who in turn distributed them to Perry.
According to the indictment, Chavez is accused of obtaining ketamine after writing a prescription in another patient’s name without the patient’s knowledge or consent, before providing false information to commercial ketamine distributors to purchase additional vials of liquid ketamine that Chavez intended to sell to Placencia. he finally gave in to Perry.
