Sensex, Nifty set to open in red; GIFT Nifty futures down over 250 points

Stock Market, NSE Nifty 50, BSE Sensex, Global Markets; US Stocks, Asian Stocks: The headline indices Sensex and Nifty are likely to start today’s session (October 3) on a negative note. Around 7:40 am, GIFT Nifty futures, the primary benchmark of the 50-share index, was down 261 points or 1.01 percent at 25,708 before the opening bell on Dalal Street.
