The WNBA playoffs began on Sunday, which means the race for the WNBA Finals MVP is also on.
Of course, to win Finals MVP, you have to make it to the finals first. And as of September 30, the New York Liberty (-125) and the Connecticut Sun (+425) are favorites to win the title.
The Aces are fourth on the board at +500, and are led by reigning Finals MVP A’ja Wilson. They will aim to win their third straight WNBA title, and Wilson will look to win back-to-back Finals MVPs for just the third time in league history.
Cynthia Cooper won four in a row from 1997-2000, and Lisa Leslie went back in 2001-2002.

Stewart leads the oddsboard, and is no stranger to this award, having won it in 2018 and 2020 as a member of the Seattle Storm. He is also the reigning regular season MVP.
His Liberty had the best record in the league, and won 1-0 against the Aces in the semi-final round of the playoffs.
Thomas and the Sun lead the Lynx 1-0 in the other semifinal game.
