JJP’s Dushyant Chautala promises 1 lakh government jobs for women and Rs 11,000 dole in Haryana | Chandigarh News


The alliance of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (ASP) has promised to provide government jobs to one lakh women and a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 11,000 if voted to power in the Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October 5.

JJP leader and former deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala and ASP chief Chandrashekar Azad, Member of Parliament for Uttar Pradesh’s Nagina district, released the alliance manifesto on Sunday. The alliance also promised a compensation of Rs 25,000 per hectare for crop loss due to natural calamities.

According to the leaders, the federal government will provide small amounts to subsidize all crops. The coalition has promised to remove the land ownership condition for the purchase of tractors. Other commitments include giving 5 extra marks to rural students in higher education and government job applications.

“A sum of up to Rs 20,000 will be given to eligible youths to train for competitive exams and this amount will be Rs 1 lakh to those who will register for the UPSC exams,” announced the leaders.

JJP contested 69 out of 90 seats while leaving 16 seats for Azad’s ASP. In three seats, the coalition gave support to independents.
