India Today Group Editor-in-Chief and Vice-Chairman Kalli Purie, who presented the vote of thanks at the end of India Today Group’s two-day conclave, Conclave Mumbai, said the thunderous debates were giving Mumbai’s thunder a run for its money.
Speaking at the meeting, Kalli Purie said, “Thank you for your warm welcome. I think we have given the thunder without our thunder talks. The joint ministry has issued a red alert in Mumbai. I am not sure if it was about the weather or the Conclave. It is nice to be back in your bustling city.”
While talking about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he said, “For us as a party, the election was a showcase of our democratic newsroom. And that’s not a claim or an opinion, but a fact. We had a direct conversation with Modi for sure, but we also had every Party leader The opposition spoke to us from Priyanka Gandhi to Akhilesh Yadav to Sharad Pawar to Uddhav Thackeray to Jagan It was an amazing journey.
“And I think that, in this day and age of mass media elections, a media organization that is committed to representing all sides is important.”
