More than 13 years later, from the process to the postseason, Harris can do well to win his biggest competition in Philadelphia – a conference title, at least – with one ironic title:
Forget the NBA. Now also the owner of the Washington Commanders, Harris can win one in Philly with an NFL team near the nation’s capital.
Across the street from where Harris’ 60-year-old 76ers are already starting to finish the line in almost the NBA season, the management plays the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in the NFC championship.
Take the chiefs to the Super Bowl in his second season after the end of the Ugly of Prewer Fender Fender previous Dani Snyder’s Tenure and the district of Columbia just supported the image of Harshing near Washington. To lift the george halas trophy given to the NFC Champion in Philadelphia – where sixty are there to win a playoff game that has passed the second round on his watch – and Harris would need to call a lot of money from the Eagles’ Sideline field.

Harris, who made his fortune as the founder of equity equity equity firm Apollo Global Management, isn’t always out of favor in Philly. Under the Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment Banner, the 76ers moved their orthopedic practice court to a glorious vacation in New Jersey and were not afraid to dig deep into their deep pockets to use the winner. Joel Ebrid signed a $192 million contract extension in September, and the signing of big-name agents and big player contracts from James Gerlen to James Harden have kept the thumbs up.
After several years of wrangling, the 76ers abandoned plans to move the city to the city and will instead partner with Comcast, the current landlord, to build a new stadium in South Philadelphia.
Philly fans are wrong about Harris these days not because the process against one has failed to produce anything close to the championship but because the aretler from college at Penn – who once brought out his family’s roots in the city, including a grandfather who was employed as a US postal worker _ did not make his full heart of the fans in Philadelphia.

Harris, through other teams and ownership or through HBSE, built a collection of teams and sports properties that formed when he bought the chiefs from 2023 North American sports records. So big when he bought six, Harris asked for his geographical heritage and noted that he grew up in Chevy Chase’s Washington Subring, Maryland.
The 76ers endured one of the worst losing streaks in NBA history _ earning the nickname “Tannadelphia” – in the first years under the recalculation process. For Washington, the turnaround was quick _ from 4-13 last season to 12-5 this season behind qb jayden dayden. The Chiefs are flying high in Philly, coming off two straight playoff wins including last weekend’s upset against No. 1 seed detroit.

As in Philly, a new stadium is emerging.
Harris, who has real-time net worth of $11.3 billion, per frame, still has a day job outside of gaming as the founder of the asset management firm 26north. However, after each game, head coach Dan Quinn and members of the front office including mentor and former State General BOB Myers Hop on Harris and review the decisive games.
“I like those times as a coach to be able to show, ‘This is what we thought, this happened,’ so it’s a good way to highlight the player, the moment, the situation, we chose to do what we did,” said Quinn. “And it’s good because I want him to be able to ask anything: ‘Why are you ready? Why did you do that? ‘ And he’s curious that way.”
Harris declined an interview with The Associated Press for this story through an HBSE spokesperson.
Much like the eagles Jeffrey Lurie, Harris has been heavily attacked in the media environment in Philadelphia and the owner who once held regular press conferences of the Franchise now, politicians or free agents in Tow after the latest asset was added to his portfolio. He has never held himself as a Philly fan Allman like Phillies owner John Middleton but he is still a base with his family or other Power-Breskie in his court seat, seen by fans and haters than the position of Comcast Flyers.

After the 76ers signed George to a one-year, $212 million contract in the summer, Harris said these people had “if not the best team, since I’ve been here.”
Wrecked by injuries, the 76ers have drifted to the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
But Harris is right in one sense: He has his own good team in Philadelphia gathered under his ownership – and here his officials are ready to send the Eagles.
“I put on my ball cap and my cleats and I was ready for the bottles to fly,” Harris said in 2014 about the expected response from fans after a 19-win season.
