Ace investor Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela bought a stake in the digital entertainment company, reflecting the pattern of shares in the December quarter of Nazara Technologies.
According to the latest stock update filed on the exchange the previous day, Kela has acquired 10,96,305 equity shares in the company, which is equivalent to 1.28 percent shares. During Q3, Madhusudan Kela’s name appeared in the list of shareholders.
As per the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) mandate, listed companies in India are required to disclose the names of shareholders who own at least 1 percent of the company. This disclosure is part of the company’s shareholding data.
Other top shareholders in the gaming company as of the December quarter include Kamath Associates and Late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
At the time of writing this copy at around 9:54 am, shares of Nazara Technologies were down 1.51 per cent or Rs 15.45 at Rs 1,009.30 per share on the BSE, while at the low time they touched 996.05 levels, a draw of almost 1 per cent. -3 from previous close.
