The Magistrate’s report of the inquiry presented in the Bombay High Court on Monday regarding the alleged collusion of the accused Badlapur sexual harassment casethey found that five police officers are responsible for the suspect’s death.
The report was submitted under sealed cover and part of it was read out in open court by a bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Neela Gokhale.
The court said the government is bound to register an FIR based on the report and demanded to know which investigative agency will investigate the case, the news agency. The PTI report.
The police personnel “could have easily handled the situation” and “use of force could not have been justified,” the court said, ordering the registration of an FIR in the case.

The case involves Akshay Shinde, who is accused of molesting two children in a school toilet in Badlapur. There was a huge protest in Badlapur because of the way the police handled the case.
Shinde, who worked at the school, was arrested on August 17 for molesting the two girls, aged three and four, in the school’s toilet. He was He was killed in an incident allegedly linked to the police on September 23 when he was taken to Taloja prison for questioning.
Police said he grabbed a gun from a police van, opened fire, and died in retaliation.
Senior police inspector Sanjay Shinde shot Akshay, while API Nilesh More, two constables and the police driver were present in the van during the shooting.
