The body of a 30-year-old woman was found lying on the side of the road in the PGI area of ​​Lucknow on Friday.

The woman is 30 years old and was working as a real estate agent. It is said that he was in love with her and earlier it was believed that she was injured and unconscious.

However, after a police team was alerted by local residents about the lady, she was taken to the Apex Trauma Center in Vrindavan Yojana where doctors declared her dead, according to The Times Of India.

The woman’s body was lying on the side of the road near her residence and the villagers had identified her as Geeta Sharma.

Geeta’s brother Lalchand filed a complaint at the SGPGI police station against his roommate Girija Shankar accusing the latter of murder.

Additional DCP, eastern zone, Pankaj Singh said that according to the post-mortem report, there were many injuries on his body which led to his death.

He went on to say that it is being investigated whether they were injured by accident or if he was brutally killed.

According to the police, Geeta Sharma belongs to Rae Bareli and lived in a housing society in PGI area.

Lalchand said that he was misled by Girija who told him that his sister had an accident and was in the hospital.

He also added that Geeta had taken an insurance policy worth Rs 1 crore and Girija Shankar was the nominee who may have led to her death.
