Defense manufacturing company Anduril has announced plans to build a large facility in the Buckeye State, promising that the site will be able to quickly export products to the US and partners.
Some of the defense company’s products include autonomous aircraft and underwater vehicles.
“Anduril, a leader in independent systems and weapons manufacturing, today announced that it has selected Columbus, Ohio as the location for Arsenal-1, its first hyperscale manufacturing facility,” the company said in a post on its website.

“At full scale, this facility will be 5 million square meters and produce tens of thousands of military systems every year. Looking ahead, with more than 500 hectares available for future expansion, Arsenal-1 is intended for long-term scale and will produce and to produce more Anduril autonomous weapons, sensors and systems in full-scale production,” the company said.
