Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket has successfully reached space on its first flight, just days after its January 13 launch was cleared. The vehicle passed the Kármán line, the border of the area recognized by the world, shortly after 2AM Eastern time on January 16. The New Glenn booster was separated from the entire rocket to return to Earth towards the landing site at sea at 2:10 AM, while its stage the second and the payload continue up to orbit. The company recently announced on its live feed, however, that it has lost a booster.
