Jharkhand: Hemant Soren launches ‘Abua Budget’ portal, invites suggestions on state budget


Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched the ‘Abua Budget’ portal and mobile app, inviting suggestions from the public and experts on the state’s budget for the financial year 2025-26. This program aims to make the budget more inclusive and reflect the needs and aspirations of the people of Jharkhand.

Speaking at the launch event, Hemant Soren emphasized that the government is focused on equitable and sustainable development. He said his government’s priority is to create a budget that promotes inclusive growth while protecting the welfare of all citizens.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of equal development in all sectors, especially focusing on the rural economy, which plays an important role in the progress of the state.

He also emphasized the need for provisions to improve revenue collection, to ensure that social programs and development projects are implemented effectively.

Soren said his government’s goal is a budget that reflects the aspirations of all sectors of society while taking into account the unique challenges our country is facing.

The ‘Abua Budget’ platform allows citizens to share their views and suggestions until January 17, 2025. These views will be reviewed carefully, and the best suggestions will be included in the budget.

To encourage participation, the government will honor the top three stakeholders whose opinions have the most impact on the budget planning process.

“Through public participation and public participation, we will take the state to sustainable development. I urge all of you to give your valuable suggestions on the Abua State Budget,” said Hemant Soren.
