A look at LG’s award-winning 5K2K gaming monitor

LG Electronics is presenting something very exciting at CES 2025 coming up this January: the LG UltraGear GX9 series.

The new lineup includes the 45GX990A and 45GX950A, both of which are 45-inch 21:9 gaming monitors with ultra-high 5K2K resolution. According to LG, the ratio offers a more immersive gaming experience that better matches the real estate of the screen. But, since both products have Dual-Mode, you can customize the aspect ratio and image size. Models with curved display panels, high brightness, and a comfortable experience with eye reduction.

What’s more, the LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor is the first OLED display with 5K2K resolution — meaning it can go from flat to 900R curvature in seconds, according to LG.
